This acrylic painting is beautifully textured.
The graceful curves of the swans’ necks, and the myriad of colours reflecting in the water, make this creation a gentle beauty.
There is a sensitive feel to the painting. This is the result of the artist’s choice of subjects, the mix of colours that complement each other and the multitude of individual brush strokes. Harmonious, tinted, cool blue and green colours have been gently blended, and the paint has been applied with soft, round brushes. The tinted yellow colours of the birds’ soft feathers reflect warm light, and blend beautifully with the cooler colours.
