Smelling Flowers (45.5 x 43 cm)

There is a similar painting in the artist’s collection, but this one includes an outline of a face. There is little space between the flowers and the subject smelling the flowers.

Energy in the dominant, yellow flowers is softened by various mixed pinks. The circular flowers hold the picture together and create harmony, whilst the diagonal dark lines add some dramatic effect.
