The structure of the seascape is different to the previous paintings because the artist has chosen the vertical form for the painting. However, it still gives a satisfactory panoramic view.
The primary objects, the sheds, are centre of focus and placed slightly off centre for balance. The secondary objects, the jetty and the pink and yellow boat, are in the foreground.
There is a romantic mood in this painting.
